Specifications

The Fluke 80PK-5A Type K Piercing Probe is engineered for precise temperature measurement across a broad spectrum of materials. It is a Type K thermocouple, constructed with a durable 316 stainless steel sheath. The probe’s tip and sheath are designed for continuous temperature measurement from -196°C to 816°C (-320°F to 1500°F). For optimal accuracy in the range of -40°C to 275°C (-40°F to 527°F), the probe provides an accuracy of ±2.2°C. In the higher range of 275°C to 816°C (527°F to 1500°F), its accuracy is ±0.75% of reading.

This piercing temperature probe features a 3.175 mm (1/8 inch) diameter, 10.16 cm (4 inches) long stainless steel sheath. It includes a 1-meter (40-inch) cable with PVC insulation, terminated by a miniature Type K thermocouple connector. The handle is made of Hytrel, designed to withstand temperatures up to 125°C (257°F). For food contact applications, the handle temperature should not exceed 65°C (150°F) and the food’s alcohol content should be below 8%.
